Well I finally got my fight up. I don't want to over sell it, but this may be the greatest fight ever. In the history of the world, since time began. You can look at it here;

Wooohoo shiney Dave :) Congratulations!!!
I think I'll make a point of being nice to you from now on!!! Poor little fella, he didn't stand a chance!
Hope all's well with you,

Right on!! Nothing gets them on the canvas better than a knee to the face! The new improved sleek shiny aerodynamic Dave......bitchin!!
Keep it shamooley...
Andy.
Well done, brightened up my day no end
BTW forgot to say that I'm impressed that you show total respect to their culture
Aww shucks. Thanks guys. I admit I was littlw concerned as to why they needed me to be slippery and pliant but it all worked out.
Thanks for that K. Although experienced Muay Thai fans may notice i cut the end of my wai kroo short. I just wanted to start slugging. :)
Nice one, lookin good. He seemed to be on the defensive from the start, which is nice.
Whats going on with Irish sport. Ireland hammer England in Rugby, Pakistan in Cricket, and now a thai boxing paddy knocks out a Thai in the first round!
Loved the ritual dance to open the show. Best fight I've seen since Blood Sport. Looked like he went down a bit easy though. I think they might be padding your record!
Keep up the good work,
Donal
Just saw it today.

Found this blog by chance - a truly excellent read!
Had you fought/ trained before you went to Thailand?
Good luck for any future fights too.
Cheers
Stumbled on to your blog..
Well done!
Wouldn't want to run into you in a dark alley!
Thanks for the compliments my existing and new anonymous pals.
To answer your questions, firstly, I trained in Muay Thai for about 9 months then took about 3 months off, then came to Thailand and trained for 6 weeks before the fight. And yes, you definitely wouldn't want to meet me in a dark alley as I am also a bi-sexual rapist.
Congrats on the first fight! Looked good. Makes me miss Chiang Mai and training at Chai Yai.
I was there about a month ago for 2-3 weeks before leaving to Laos with a cute English girl. Back home in rainy Seattle.
Take care and good luck!
Hey Matt,
How did you come across this page? Anyway, good to hear from you man. Did you feet ever heal?
Not sure where to post this but I wanted to ask if anyone has heard of National Clicks?
Can someone help me find it?
Overheard some co-workers talking about it all week but didn't have time to ask so I thought I would post it here to see if someone could help me out.
Seems to be getting alot of buzz right now.
Thanks
